Lending back in vogue

Berkshire Hathaway is rapidly growing its new insurance business, with a particular focus on Asia. To generate interest from Warren Buffett’s firm, it’d be helpful to work at AIG. Berkshire has poached 17 execs from there in the last year.
FX Cantor’s latest focus
Cantor Fitzgerald, it seems, is always hiring. It’s latest two poaches come from Goldman Sachs, who are charged with growing the investment bank’s global forex trading business.
